The Campfire Rule
The "Campfire Rule" is to always leave a site in better condition than you found it. We do the same for every Campfire client, promising to end each project with your team better equipped to keep the fire going. This promise means we take a different approach than other analytics consulting firms. We teach through co-creation, build analytics programs with and for your teams, and provide documentation that will serve as a map when you’re ready to continue the journey on your own.
We don't believe in vendor lock-in. We believe in enablement. In fact, that's the whole reason we started Campfire Analytics - to prove that a different business model is possible for a professional services company, one that develops capability instead of dependency.

We fervently believe in helping our clients make the most of the tools they have. Which is why we don't resell any technology - instead, we try to maintain an objective perspective on the solutions that work best for specific scenarios. With over 3,500 technologies in the marketing landscape alone, it's impossible to list all the tools we've used to support our clients in doing more with their data. Below we've included those we use most often (as well the cloud computing and programming languages we specialize in).

Digital Analytics Consultant
Campfire analysts balance between strategy and execution to deliver best-in-class client service. We don't hire 'report monkeys' - we're looking for bright and curious minds who love to explore data, dig for insights, and mine opportunities for the clients we serve. Our Analytics Consultants are comfortable operating without oversight to solve problems and deliver value. Client-facing consulting experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with large volumes of behavioral data (web, mobile, SaaS)
Firm understanding of digital data collection
Expert-level skills in Excel as well as at least one programming language (SQL, R, Python)
Strong familiarity with one or more digital analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
Solid grasp of marketing and/or ecommerce concepts
Minimum of 4 years experience in data analysis roles
Bonus points if you have experience in:
A/B testing and optimization on web/mobile
Data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI)
Web Developer, A/B Testing
Experience with implementing Web Analytics products (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
Demonstrated experience developing tests within Optimizely, Adobe Target, or other testing platform
Familiarity with hypothesis-driven experiment design
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
Bonus points if you have experience in:
AngularJS or similar GUI libraries
NodeJS or PhantomJS
